Lightbeans CEO and cofounder Philippe Hébert Makes Forbes 30 Under 30

Lightbeans CEO and cofounder Philippe Hébert has been named to the prestigious Forbes 2025 30 Under 30 list in the Manufacturing & Industry category. This honor recognizes Hébert’s innovative leadership in transforming the architectural and construction sectors with technology-driven solutions.

At just 28, Hébert has led Lightbeans, North America’s largest manufacturer-specific 3D texture library, to redefine how architects and designers select materials for construction projects. Founded in 2018 with Patrick Hébert and Antoine Demers-Hébert, the Quebec City-based startup enables users to digitally explore and specify materials, reducing reliance on physical samples and lowering the building industry’s carbon footprint.

Under Hébert’s guidance, Lightbeans has grown to support 9,000 architects and designers and collaborates with 75 manufacturing partners, with plans to surpass 10,000 users by the end of 2024. The company has also secured $1.6 million in Canadian government grants, reflecting its impact and potential.

“Forbes’ recognition is a testament to our team’s hard work and commitment to sustainability,” said Hébert. “We aim to make material specification smarter and greener for the construction industry.”

Hébert’s inclusion in Forbes highlights his role as a visionary leader addressing critical challenges in the building sector through innovation and environmental stewardship. For more information, visit www.lightbeans.com.
