Richelieu Wins Gold and Silver at 2026 Best of KBIS for VERTI 840 and ATIPICA

Richelieu Hardware has secured two major awards at the 2026 Best of KBIS program, earning Gold in the Wellness Trailblazer category for its VERTI 840 motorized lift and Silver in the Style Statement – Kitchen category for its ATIPICA decorative hardware collection.

The awards were presented during the 2026 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show in Orlando, Florida, recognizing product innovation and design leadership in the North American kitchen and bath sector.

The VERTI 840, developed by Granberg and distributed by Richelieu, received Gold for its focus on accessibility and universal design. The electric height-adjustable lift system is designed for upper cabinets, allowing users to lower storage contents to a more accessible height. The system is aimed at improving comfort and functionality, particularly for individuals with reduced mobility, while supporting inclusive kitchen design.

The Wellness Trailblazer category highlights products that enhance well-being and quality of life. Judges, including designers, architects, and product experts, evaluate entries based on innovation, functionality, and impact.

Richelieu’s Silver award went to ATIPICA, a design-forward decorative hardware collection created by designers Gianmarco Codato and Luciano Trevisiol. The collection was recognized in the Style Statement – Kitchen category for its bold approach to texture, geometry, and colour.

ATIPICA is positioned as a sculptural hardware line that transforms cabinetry into a focal design element. The collection reflects a growing emphasis in kitchen design on expressive details that combine aesthetic impact with practical application.

Best of KBIS is awarded annually at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show, the largest trade event in North America dedicated to kitchen and bath design. The program honours excellence across seven categories, spotlighting style, innovation, sustainability, functionality, and wellness.

By capturing awards in both wellness and style categories, Richelieu demonstrated a dual focus on accessible design solutions and high-impact decorative hardware. The company said the recognition reinforces its commitment to combining purposeful functionality with expressive design.
