IWF 2026 Introduces Expert-Led Wood Industry Innovation Show Tours
IWF 2026 is introducing Wood Industry Innovation Tours, a new series of expert-led show-floor experiences designed to give attendees a closer look at emerging woodworking technologies, manufacturing strategies and product innovations.
The tours will guide participants through selected exhibitors and technologies across IWF’s product mix, with industry experts providing practical insight into new solutions and their potential applications in manufacturing businesses.
Two tours have been announced: Industry 5.0 and the Smart Factory, presented by Lignum Consulting, Inc., and IWF Power Walk: The Closets Edition, presented by The Closet Training Institute.
The Industry 5.0 and the Smart Factory tour will focus on connected manufacturing and technologies intended to improve production efficiency, productivity and competitiveness. The program is aimed at manufacturers evaluating how digital systems and emerging technologies can be incorporated into their operations.
The Closets Edition tour will concentrate on products, processes and technologies serving the closet and storage industry. Participants will be introduced to developments that could support growth and operational improvements in that market segment.
At each selected stop, representatives from participating companies will discuss their technologies, answer attendee questions and provide examples of how the solutions can be applied in woodworking and related manufacturing operations.
The Wood Industry Innovation Tours are being offered as part of IWF 2026’s programming and are intended to help attendees navigate the show’s extensive exhibition floor while focusing on specific areas of industry development.
