All Wood Fine Interiors receives $1 million for manufacturing modernization

Etobicoke-based All Wood Fine Interiors Ltd. is receiving a $1-million repayable federal investment toward a $2.79-million project to modernize its manufacturing operations, install advanced equipment and upgrade its facility.

The funding was announced Aug. 27 by the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario as part of more than $6.6 million in repayable investments for five Etobicoke businesses. FedDev Ontario said the All Wood Fine Interiors project is intended to improve competitiveness and support expansion into new markets.

Founded in 1998 and amalgamated in 2021, All Wood Fine Interiors specializes in the design, manufacturing and installation of premium custom millwork and interior furnishings. The company produces architectural millwork, casework, cabinetry, surface cladding and other custom interior components for commercial, hospitality, residential and institutional projects.

The manufacturer operates a 70,000-square-foot facility in Etobicoke. According to the company, approximately 60,000 square feet is dedicated to millwork manufacturing, with another 10,000 square feet used for architectural metalwork. Its in-house operations include CNC programming, fabrication, assembly and quality control.

The federal contribution will support the adoption of advanced manufacturing equipment and facility improvements as All Wood Fine Interiors modernizes production. FedDev Ontario has not disclosed the specific machinery or technologies being acquired.

The company works with materials including solid wood, veneer, solid surface products, stone, acrylic, metals and composites. It serves builders, architects, designers and property owners, with projects ranging from custom cabinetry and architectural woodwork to large interior installations.

All Wood Fine Interiors is one of five Etobicoke companies receiving funding under the Aug. 27 announcement. Other recipients include Clear Air Carbon Fiber, Just Vertical, Rawcology and SWTCH Energy.

FedDev Ontario said the combined investments are intended to help the companies modernize operations, strengthen competitiveness and diversify into new markets.
